UOW Engineering Graduate Capabilities articulate how the Faculty develops graduates who possess the qualities expected in today’s engineers – such as solid discipline knowledge, high-level problem-solving ability, research, communication, team work and management skills.

Students will be given opportunities to progressively build these capabilities as they move through their program, to reach the level expected of UOW engineering graduates. This preliminary mapping of subjects against our new Graduate Capabilities shows how we currently achieve this across subjects in Bachelor of Engineering degrees.

Capabilities are inclusive of both the UOW Graduate Qualities and the Engineers Australia Attributes of Graduates.
